Fermaprovi is a synthetic androgen that lacks anabolic properties and is utilized by bodybuilders during cycles and after steroid treatments to mitigate common side effects such as gynecomastia, water retention, and reduced libido. It is a Dihydrotestosterone derivative that effectively restores testosterone levels in the body.
Fermaprovi is employed in medical settings to treat conditions like hypogonadism, psycho-vegetative disorders, decreased work capacity, sexual potency issues, male infertility, and aplastic anemia.
Dosage recommendations are 25 – 100 mg per day for men, and 25 mg per day for women.
Women may experience androgenic side effects such as voice deepening, irregular menstruation, alteration in skin texture, and clitoral enlargement. Men may face side effects including oily skin, acne, increased body or facial hair, worsening male pattern baldness, heightened libido, and mood or behavioral issues.
It is not advisable to use Fermaprovi in cases of hypersensitivity to the substance, prostate cancer, or liver tumors. Regular rectal examinations for prostate health are recommended during use, as well as monitoring of liver and kidney function. It is also not recommended for adolescents to prevent premature interruption of growth and puberty.
In instances of acute overdose, toxicity remains low, but chronic overdose could lead to priapism.
